AutoClaims Direct (ACD), a leading auto claims technology and services company to the property and casualty industry, announced today the addition of Michael Calens as their new Sales & Business Analyst.
In his role, Michael will use his analytical mind and expertise in strategic planning and optimizing operations to help lead ACD’s future growth. Working with the company’s recruitment team, he will also oversee the Independent Appraiser (IA) network, analyzing and bolstering the network in needed areas.
The adjustments, pivots and acceleration insurance companies needed to make in 2020 were numerous. “Like most companies, our margins were affected but that hasn’t deterred me from making changes to improve the company and provide our clients with better technology and personalized service. Calens will play a big part in this. Our niche market has so much opportunity,” said ACD CEO Ernie Bray.
Calen’s 20+ years of experience will add depth and knowledge that will only make ACD stronger. Most recently, he worked for a national appraisal firm until late last year. Prior to that Calens held multiple roles at both CARSTAR and Nationwide Insurance.
In another aspect of his professional life, Calens is an elected State Committeeman (in Arizona) and takes pride in contributing to non-profit organizations.
