This entrepreneur is the driving force in growing ACD from a bootstrapped startup in 2003, into the leading virtual claims provider in the insurance industry today, Ernie’s goal from day one has been to unify the auto claims process. How? Through innovative solutions that reduce cycle times, increase communication and drive efficiency for adjusters. Because clients have varying needs, ACD’s flexibility and consultative approach is key to the company’s success.
Brian does his best strategic thinking while playing the guitar. It helps him visualize ways to improve various areas of the company. He oversees all operations, including client service, software development, business development, and marketing. His goal is to mold an elite team of professionals into the premiere choice for service and technology in the auto claims sector. His over 20 years of insurance industry experience includes supervisory and other roles at Mercury Insurance.
Before insurance, Mike was a car guy building race cars and running a body shop. He began his insurance career in 1989, holding leadership positions with Nationwide (his longest stint at 20 years), Travelers, Innovation Group, Car-Part.com and most recently PDA. Being a good steward of the industry is important to Mike, as is understanding how the needs of a carrier have changed. Using his collaborative approach, he wants to really understand what a client’s needs are and work together on the best outcome. In his experience, you get the best results this way.
Brandon has a varied background that includes beverages, glass, vehicle history and independent appraising. Through it all, his focus is on customer service and delivering what they need. He’s a people person and loves building relationships. Colleagues have said this about Brandon, “you’d be hard pressed to find a better teammate.” Brandon is partnered with Mike O’Leary to make up ACD’s dynamic sales duo. Between them, listening to clients, understanding what’s important and delivering on their needs is the number one goal.
Peggy’s background in the insurance industry spans over 25 years including manager and supervisory roles at United Healthcare leading an intake call center. She, along with Ernie worked tirelessly to create and build ACD into the vibrant company it is today. Peggy now serves on the Board of Directors and is involved with company strategy and leadership.
Ken works closely with new and existing clients to ensure that ACD’s technology solutions align seamlessly with its business objectives. He and his Client Care team work in tandem with Sales so our technology and service rollouts are smooth and easy. Ken succeeds in building long-term partnerships – he earns rave reviews from clients. He has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and was formerly a supervisor at Mercury Insurance.
Michael got his feet wet as an appraiser trainee. Twenty years later he’s amassed invaluable experience in the automotive and insurance industries which includes overseeing 26 auto body shops. He attributes his career success to key mentors and partnerships forged during those years. Michael’s strengths include analyzing and improving business operations, putting efficiency and processes in place, and maximizing growth opportunities. And always asking a lot of questions… and finding the answers.
Eunice’s background includes program management, communications and marketing experience in the public, non-profit and energy sectors. She dived into the insurance industry in 2019. Since then, she’s infused ACD’s values of people, process and innovation into social media as well as internal and external communications. The claims ecosystem is layered and Eunice enjoys relaying the interesting ACD stories, information and data to our target audience.
